Ingredients/Components

  • large marshmallows - 30 item
  • large can evaporated milk - 1 item
  • bag flaked coconut - 14 oz
  • bag powdered sugar - 1 item
  • cocoa - 1/4 c
  • evaporated milk - 1/2 c
  • melted margarine - 3/4 c
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1/4 c

How to make mounds cake:

Bake devil's food cake as directed and leave in 9 x 13-inch pan. Melt 30 large marshmallows in large can evaporated milk over medium heat. When melted, remove from heat and add coconut and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Spread over cake.

Sift powdered sugar and add cocoa, 1/2 cup evaporated milk, margarine, 1 teaspoon vanilla and pecans. Mix well and spread over cake.
