Moo goo gai pan
Ingredients/Components
- cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
- cold water - 3 Tbsp
- soy sauce - 2 Tbsp
- chicken broth - 3 c
- olive oil - 4 Tbsp
- diced celery - 2 c
- chicken breast halves - 4 item
- sliced water chestnuts - 1 c
- bamboo shoots - 2 c
- Chinese cabbage - 1 c
- frozen pea pods, thawed - 1 pkg
How to make moo goo gai pan:
Cut chicken into strips. Fry over high heat in 4 tablespoons oil for 5 minutes. Add bamboo shoots, pea pods, celery, cabbage, water chestnuts, broth and soy. Cover pan and steam for 5 minutes over medium heat. Mix cornstarch with cold water. Add to Moo Goo Gai Pan to thicken. Serve with rice. Serves 4.Recipe categories: Chicken, Main dish, Poultry.
