Ingredients/Components
- milk
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- grated cheese
- garlic clove, minced - 1/2 item
- finely chopped onion - 1/2 c
- chicken stock - 1 c
- medium white sauce
- large tomato, chopped, peeled and diced - 1 item
- large green chilies, seeded, veins removed and chopped - 2 item
How to make monterey jack cheese soup:
Put onion, tomato, chilies and garlic in pot with chicken stock; cook until tender. Remove from heat; slowly stir in white sauce, then milk, stirring constantly. Add salt, pepper and cheese.
