Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- cinnamon - 1 Tbsp
- butter or margarine, melted - 3/4 c
- pecans, ground fine - 1/2 c
- cans biscuits 10 biscuits each can - 4 item
- Roll each piece in the mixture of sugar, cinnamon and ground pecans
How to make monkey bread:
Cut each biscuit into four pieces (kitchen shears work well). Roll each piece in the mixture of sugar, cinnamon and ground pecans. Place in a large buttered tube pan.Topping:1 c. sugar1 Tbsp. cinnamon3/4 c. butter or margarine, melted Combine and pour over the biscuits. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before turning out on a cake plate. Do not slice, simply pull off a lump from the whole piece.
