Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- egg - 1 item
- warm water - 1 c
- stick oleo, melted - 1 item
- yeast - 2 pkg
How to make monkey bread:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add egg, sugar, salt and flour. Mix well. Let rise until double. Punch down and roll out 1/4-inch thick. Cut into segments. Dip strips into melted oleo before placing into pan. Let rise until double. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Low protein, Breads, Rolls/biscuits.
