Monkey bread



  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • chopped pecans - 1/2 c
  • stick butter or margarine - 1/2 item
  • cans regular-size buttermilk biscuits - 2 item

How to make monkey bread:

Pour sugar and cinnamon into sack and shake to mix ingredients. Cut 2 cans of regular-size buttermilk biscuits into quarters. Put into the sack of cinnamon and sugar and shake to coat. Place in casserole. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup chopped pecans. Bring to boil 1/2 stick butter or margarine, sugar and cinnamon. Pour over cut up uncooked biscuits. Cover casserole and bake 25 minutes at 350°.
