Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 Tbsp
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour
- water - 1/4 c
- yeast - 2 pkg
- stick oleo - 1 item
How to make monkey bread:
Over medium heat, melt oleo in milk. Mix yeast and water in a small mixing bowl. Mix salt, sugar and flour in a large mixing bowl. Add yeast and milk mixtures to flour mixture. Mix well. Cover with a cloth and let rise for 2 hours. Knead dough. Cut in strips; dip each strip in melted butter. Arrange in tube pan. Cover and let rise 2 more hours when doubled.
