Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- brown sugar - 1 c
- nuts, chopped - 1 c
- cans canned biscuits - 3 item
- Break biscuits in quarter pieces; put in bag with sugar and cinnamon
How to make monkey bread:
Mix sugar and cinnamon in bag. Break biscuits in quarter pieces; put in bag with sugar and cinnamon. Shake and coat well. Grease and flour tube pan. Place biscuits in pan in layers. Between each layer, sprinkle nuts. (Any sugar and cinnamon left in bag may be poured in pan.)Syrup:1 stick margarine1 c. brown sugar Bring to boil margarine and brown sugar. Boil 1 minute. Pour syrup over biscuits. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes in 350° oven. Turn out onto plate immediately.Recipe categories: Low protein, Breads, Rolls/biscuits.
