Monkey bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 2 Tbsp
- packed brown sugar - 1 c
- water - 2 tsp
- stick butter or margarine - 1 item
- chopped pecans optional - 1/2 c
- cans biscuits - 3 item
How to make monkey bread:
Mix cinnamon and sugar together. Quarter biscuits and roll in sugar mixture (or put mixture in a large Ziploc bag and shake a few pieces at a time). Place in a greased Bundt pan. Sprinkle with pecans.In a 2-quart pan, melt margarine and add brown sugar and water. Boil for 1 minute. Pour over top of biscuits. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before removing from pan.
Note: This can also be baked in a 9 x 13 pan if you don't own a Bundt pan.
