Monkey bread
Ingredients/Components
- white sugar - 2/3 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- tubes of biscuits - 4 item
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- 1/2 stick margarine - 1 item
How to make monkey bread:
Caramel:1/2 c. white sugar1/2 c. brown sugar1 1/2 stick margarine1 tsp. cinnamon Grease Bundt pan. Mix cinnamon and sugar together. Cut biscuits into quarters. Roll dough in cinnamon/sugar mixture. Layer pan with the dough.Caramel: Melt margarine in saucepan. Add sugars and cinnamon. Bring caramel mixture to a boil. Pour over dough and bake at 350 for 50 minutes. You may need to tent the pan with foil the last 10-15 minutes to prevent the edges from being overcooked.
After baking, turn onto a plate while hot.
If you don't have a Bundt pan a 9 x 13 pan will work. You won't need to turn the bread out onto a plate.
