Molasses crinkles
Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar - 1 item
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- brown sugar - 1 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- molasses - 1/4 c
- ginger - 1 tsp
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
- butter, soft - 3/4 c
How to make molasses crinkles:
Mix butter, sugar, egg and molasses thoroughly. Measure flour, blend all ingredients. Stir in and chill. Heat oven 350 degrees. Roll dough in 1 1/4 inch balls. Dip balls in sugar. Place 3 inches apart on greased pan. Sprinkle each with 2 or 3 drops of water. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or just until set, but not hard.
