Moist pumpkin bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 2/3 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 2 tsp
- shortening - 2/3 c
- all-purpose flour
- large eggs - 4 item
- raisins - 2/3 c
- ground cloves - 1 tsp
- can pumpkin - 1 oz
How to make moist pumpkin bread:
Beat shortening and sugar together. Add eggs, beating well. Add pumpkin and rest of the ingredients. Spoon into loaf pan that has been greased and floured. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Cool 10 minutes and remove from pan.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, Vegetables.
