Moist banana bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- sour milk - 1/2 c
- very ripe bananas
How to make moist banana bread:
Cream sugar and shortening together. Add eggs. Add bananas and sour milk. Sift dry ingredients together; add to banana mixture. Add vanilla and nuts. Pour into 2 greased and floured bread pans. Bake at 350° for 45 to 60 minutes.To sour fresh milk, stir 1 1/2 teaspoons vinegar into 1/2 cup milk.
