Ingredients/Components
- can tuna - 1 1/4
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- mayonnaise - 1 Tbsp
- chopped parsley - 1 Tbsp
- baking powder - 1 Tbsp
- slices white bread - 2 item
- Old Bay seasoning
- Worcestershire sauce - 1 Tbsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
How to make mock crab cakes:
Drain oil from tuna and put tuna in a small bowl. Break bread into small piece, add to tuna. Add all other ingredients and mix thoroughly. Shape into cakes, fry in hot oil until brown.Tuna packed in water may need more mayonnaise.
These cakes can be made ahead of time and wrapped in wax paper and frozen until later.
