Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- granulated sugar - 1/2 Tbsp
- butter - 1/3 c
- dash of salt - 1 item
- instant coffee - 2 3
- 8 oz - 2 pkg
- chocolate wafers, finely crushed
- Butter sides and bottom of an 8-inch spring-form pan
How to make mocha cheesecake:
Combine wafer crumbs, butter and sugar. Butter sides and bottom of an 8-inch spring-form pan. Press crumb mixture evenly into bottom of pan.Filling:2 sq. (1 oz. each) sweet chocolate2 pkg. (8 oz. each) cream cheese4 eggs2 to 3 tsp. instant coffee dash of salt Melt chocolate over hot, but not boiling, water until smooth. Beat cream cheese soft and smooth. Add eggs, one at a time. Gradually add sugar, mixing well. Add melted chocolate, instant coffee and salt. Turn mixture into prepared pan. Bake at 350° in center of oven for 40 minutes. Cake will firm when chilled.
