Missouri cookies

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• milk - 1/2 c
• pinch of salt - 1 item
• shortening - 1/2 c
• chunky peanut butter - 1/2 c
• cocoa powder - 3 Tbsp
• quick Quaker oats - 3 c

How to make missouri cookies:

Place first four ingredients in a saucepan. Cook at a rolling boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add peanut butter, salt and Quaker oats. Drop by teaspoon on waxed paper immediately. Makes 3 dozen.
