Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- cream cheese
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1/2 1
- flour - 1 c
- powdered sugar - 1 c
- stick butter, melted - 1 item
- Cool Whip - 8 oz
- small boxes pudding and pie mix not instant - 2 item
- extra Cool Whip, coconut, pecans and chocolate chips - 1 item
How to make mississippi mud pie:
Filling:8 oz. cream cheese8 oz. Cool Whip2 small boxes pudding and pie mix (not instant)1 c. powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla extra Cool Whip, coconut, pecans and chocolate chips To Make Crust: Mix first 3 ingredients together. Add pecans and pour into 9-inch pie pan. Bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes; cool.1st Layer: Beat together until smooth the cream cheese, Cool Whip, powdered sugar and vanilla. Pour on crust.
2nd Layer: Cook boxes of pudding and pie filling (chocolate) as for pie. Cool and pour over cheese mixture.
3rd Layer: Add Cool Whip topping on top of pudding.
4th Layer (Optional): Coconut, pecans and chocolate chips. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
