Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- flour
- stick margarine - 1/2 item
- cocoa - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1 c
- bag miniature marshmallows - 1 item
- nuts reserve 1/4 c - 1 c
- Add eggs and cocoa
How to make mississippi mud cake:
Beat sugar and margarine until creamy. Add eggs and cocoa. Beat until smooth. Add salt, vanilla and flour. Again beat until smooth. Fold in 3/4 cup nuts. Bake in a 9 x 13-inch pan in a 350° oven for 30 to 40 minutes. While hot, spread with small marshmallows and 1/4 cup of nuts. Let cool and frost.Frosting:1 box powdered sugar1/2 stick margarine1/2 c. milk1/3 c. cocoa Beat all ingredients together until smooth and spread over cake.Recipe categories: Desserts, Chocolate, Cakes.
