Mississippi mud cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 Tbsp
- milk
- flour
- stick margarine - 1 item
- cocoa - 1/3 c
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- box confectioners sugar - 1 item
- pecans - 1 c
- pecans optional - 1 c
- small jar marshmallow cream - 1 item
- small can coconut optional - 1 item
How to make mississippi mud cake:
Frosting:6 tsp. milk1 stick margarine3 Tbsp. cocoa1 box confectioners sugar1 Tbsp. vanilla1 c. pecans Melt margarine. Add eggs and beat. Add sugar, flour, cocoa, pecans and coconut; mix well. Bake at 350° for approximately 30 minutes in 9 x 13 pan. Remove from oven. While hot, spread marshmallow cream and let cool.Bring to a boil the milk, margarine and cocoa. Remove from heat and add sugar, pecans and vanilla. Mix well. Add enough milk to make right spreading consistency, 1/2 teaspoon at a time.
Frosting is also very good on 4 layer yellow cake.
