Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- chopped nuts
- cocoa - 1/2 c
- eggs, beaten - 4 item
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- all-purpose flour - 1/2 c
- margarine, softened - 1/4 c
- margarine - 1 c
- miniature marshmallows - 1 item
- Combine chocolate mixture, sugar and eggs in a large mixing bowl; mix well
How to make mississippi mud cake:
Melt margarine with cocoa in a small saucepan over low heat; remove from heat. Combine chocolate mixture, sugar and eggs in a large mixing bowl; mix well. Add flour, nuts, salt and vanilla; mix well. Pour batter into greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes. Immediately top with marshmallows and cover with Chocolate Frosting. Let cool.Chocolate Frosting:1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar1/4 c. margarine, softened1/2 c. milk1/3 c. cocoa Combine all ingredients in a small mixing bowl. Mix well.
