Ingredients/Components
- margarine - 3/4 c
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- flour
- cocoa - 2/3 c
- chopped pecans
- can flaked coconut - 1 1/2
- jar Marshmallow Creme - 1 oz
- confectioners sugar - 4 c
- evaporated milk - 1/2 c
How to make mississippi mud cake:
Cream 2 cups sugar and 3/4 cup margarine until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Add combined flour and 2/3 cup cocoa; mix well. Stir in nuts and coconut. Pour into greased and floured 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes or until pick inserted in center comes out clean. Spread Marshmallow Creme over top of cake. Cool. Cream margarine; blend in vanilla. Add combined sugar and cocoa alternately with milk, beating until light and fluffy. Spread over Marshmallow Creme.Recipe categories: Desserts, Chocolate, Cakes.
