  • sugar
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 3 tsp
  • oil - 1 c
  • cocoa - 1/3 c
  • self-rising flour
  • nuts, chopped - 1 c

How to make mississippi mud cake:

Cream the sugar and shortening. Add eggs and beat. Sift flour and cocoa. Add vanilla and nuts. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan at 350° for 30 minutes. Remove from oven; spread with a jar of marshmallow cream, then spread with frosting.
