Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans
- flour
- stick margarine - 1 item
- evaporated milk - 1/2 c
- coconut - 1 c
- cocoa - 2 Tbsp
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- sticks butter or margarine - 2 item
- Topping:1 jar marshmallow cream
How to make mississippi mud cake:
Topping:1 jar marshmallow cream1 stick margarine1/3 c. cocoa1/2 c. evaporated milk1 tsp. vanilla1 box powdered sugar Cream butter with sugar until fluffy. Add remaining ingredients and beat well after each addition. Bake in greased and floured pan for 30 to 40 minutes at 350°. While cake is still warm, spread with topping.Topping: Spread marshmallow cream over cake first. Then melt margarine in a saucepan along with cocoa and milk. Cook until blended. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and sugar. Spread over marshmallow cream.
