  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • cocoa - 1/2 c
  • dash of salt - 1 item
  • pecans
  • sticks oleo - 2 item
  • cake flour
  • box powdered sugar - 1/2 item
  • Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition

How to make mississippi mud cake:

Cream butter, sugar and cocoa. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour, nuts and vanilla; mix well. Pour batter in greased and floured 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake at 325° for 40 minutes. Remove from oven and spread marshmallows on top of cake. Return to oven until marshmallows melt.Icing:4 Tbsp. butter1 tsp. vanilla1/2 box powdered sugar4 Tbsp. cocoa Cream butter thoroughly. Add sugar and cocoa; beat well. Add vanilla and spread over warm cake. Cool cake several hours before cutting.
