- vanilla - 1 tsp
- evaporated milk - 1/2 c
- cocoa
- all-purpose flour
- nuts
- whole eggs - 4 item
- Icing:1 box powdered sugar
- coconut 4 oz
- Cake:2 sticks oleo
How to make mississippi mud cake:
Cake:2 sticks oleo2 c. sugar1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour4 whole eggs1 tsp. vanilla2 heaping Tbsp. cocoa1 1/2 c. coconut (4 oz.)1 1/2 c. nuts Icing:1 box powdered sugar1/2 c. evaporated milk1/3 c. cocoa1 tsp. vanilla Cake: Preheat oven to 350°. Cream sugar, cocoa and oleo. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Add flour which has been sifted, coconut, nuts and vanilla, mixing well. Bake in 9 x 13-inch pan for 40 minutes. Be sure to grease pan for cake before baking.When cake is done, spread marshmallow cream on top. Add icing while hot.
