Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- milk - 1/4 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour
- cocoa - 1/3 c
- nuts - 1/2 c
- Crisco - 1 c
- miniature marshmallows - 1 pkg
- sticks butter - 2 item
- Icing:1 box powdered sugar
How to make mississippi mud cake:
Icing:1 box powdered sugar2 sticks butter1/4 c. milk1/3 c. cocoa1 tsp. vanilla1 c. nuts Cream together Crisco and sugar; add 4 eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Sift together flour, salt and cocoa. Combine flour mixture to creamed mixture. Add vanilla and nuts. Makes a thick brownie-type mixture. Place in 9 x 13-inch greased pan. Bake 20 minutes at 300° (a little longer if needed). Remove from pan and top with package of miniature marshmallows. Cool.Icing: Mix ingredients together and spread over cake.
