Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour
- butter - 1 c
- cocoa - 1/2 c
- chocolate chips - 2 c
- miniature marshmallows - 2 c
- eggs, slightly beaten - 4 item
- chopped salted peanuts
How to make mississippi mud cake:
In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add cocoa, stir until well blended. Remove from heat and add sugar, eggs and vanilla, mixing well.In a separate bowl combine flour and peanuts. Stir to coat peanuts. Add gradually to saucepan ingredients. Spoon batter into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes. Spread marshmallows over warm cake. Spread chocolate chips over marshmallows.
