Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- milk - 4 5
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1 c
- cocoa - 1/2 c
- buttermilk - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- miniature marshmallows - 1 item
- pecans - 1/2 c
- oleo - 1/2 c
- flour plain - 2 c
- stick oleo - 1 item
- , vanilla - 1 tsp
- Add to all dry ingredients
How to make mississippi mud cake:
Bring water and oleo to boil. Add to all dry ingredients. Add eggs and buttermilk. Mix well and pour into floured Pyrex dish and cook at 350° for about 30 minutes. Take out of oven and put marshmallows on top. Put back in oven until puffy. Add pecans and ice while hot.Icing:1 box powdered sugar1/2 c. oleo1/4 c. cocoa4 to 5 Tbsp. milk Cream together until smooth. Spread on cake.Recipe categories: Desserts, Chocolate, Cakes.
