  • Add pecans and press into a 9 x 12-inch pan

How to make mississippi mud:

Cream butter and flour together. Add pecans and press into a 9 x 12-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Remove and let cool.Second Layer:1 c. powdered sugar1 c. whipped cream1 tsp. vanilla1 (8 oz.) cream cheese Mix with electric mixer and spread evenly over top of cooled first layer.Third Layer:1 (6 oz.) box instant chocolate pudding1 c. water1 c. evaporated milk1 c. whole milk1 tsp. vanilla Mix on slow speed with mixer and spread evenly on top of second layer.Fourth Layer: remaining whipped topping chopped pecans or grated chocolate bar Top with remaining whipped topping. Sprinkle with chopped pecans or grated chocolate bar. Place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
