Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- milk - 5 Tbsp
- flour
- butter - 1 c
- coconut - 1 c
- cocoa - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- jar marshmallow cream - 7 oz
- pinch salt - 1 item
- Add eggs, one at a time
How to make mississippi mud:
Mix butter, sugar, cocoa, flour, salt and baking powder. Add eggs, one at a time. Stir in coconut and pecans. Pour batter into a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes. While cake is still hot, spread marshmallow cream over the cake and let this cool completely.Icing:1 box powdered sugar1/3 c. cocoa1/2 c. butter5 Tbsp. milk Mix well and spread over the cake on top of the marshmallow cream.Recipe categories: Desserts, Chocolate, < 60 mins.
