Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- chopped pecans
- milk - 1/3 c
- flour
- cocoa - 1/3 c
- margarine - 1 c
- box powdered sugar - 1 item
- jar Marshmallow Creme* - 1 oz
- Melt margarine and cocoa in saucepan
- a little more milk - 1 item
How to make mississippi mud:
*It is richer with 2 jars of Marshmallow Creme.Melt margarine and cocoa in saucepan. Add sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour and pecans. Mix well. Pour into well-greased, floured pan (15 1/2 x 10 1/2-inch). Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Spread Marshmallow Creme on top of cake while warm.Mississippi Mud Icing:1/2 stick margarine1 box powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla1/3 c. cocoa1/3 c. milk a little more milk Melt margarine and cocoa in saucepan. Add sugar, vanilla and milk. Beat until smooth and pour over cake. Cut cake into squares and serve.
