Mississippi mud
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- chopped nuts
- flour
- evaporated milk - 1/2 c
- cocoa - 2 Tbsp
- confectioners sugar - 1 lb
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- flaked coconut
- margarine
- jar marshmallow cream - 1 oz
How to make mississippi mud:
Icing:1/2 c. margarine1 lb. confectioners sugar1/2 c. cocoa1/2 c. evaporated milk1 tsp. vanilla Cream the margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Add cocoa, eggs and vanilla; beat thoroughly. Add flour alternately with coconut, mixing well. Add nuts; beat 2 minutes. Pour into greased jelly roll pan. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes. Remove from oven; immediately spread marshmallow cream over surface. Cool in pan on rack.Icing: Cream the margarine. Add confectioners sugar and cocoa; mix well. Add evaporated milk and vanilla; beat well. Frost cooled cake. Cut into 45 squares.
