  • sugar - 2 c
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 4 Tbsp
  • stick margarine - 1 item
  • cocoa - 1 tsp
  • confectioners sugar - 1 c
  • buttermilk - 1 c
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • nuts - 1 c
  • plain flour
  • Milky Way bars - 8 item
  • Mix sugar, eggs and vanilla

How to make milky way cake:

Melt candy and margarine on low heat. Mix sugar, eggs and vanilla. Sift flour and baking soda together. Add to egg mixture, alternating with the buttermilk, beginning and ending with flour. Pour in candy and mix well. Add nuts. Bake in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan at 300° for 1 hour and 15 minutes.Frosting:4 Milky Way bars1 c. confectioners sugar1/2 stick margarine4 Tbsp. milk1 tsp. vanilla1 tsp. cocoa Melt candy bars and margarine over low heat. Add vanilla and milk. Stir in sugar and cocoa. If too thick, add a little more milk. Pour warm frosting over warm cake.
