Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- butter - 1/2 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- sticks margarine - 3 item
- buttermilk
- chocolate chips - 6 oz
- eggs, well beaten - 4 item
- cake flour
- pecans, chopped - 1 c
- marshmallow cream - 1 c
- Milky Way candy bars - 8 item
How to make milky way cake:
Icing:2 1/2 c. sugar1 c. milk1 c. marshmallow cream6 oz. chocolate chips1/2 c. butter Cake: Melt Milky Ways with 1/4 pound butter. Remove from heat and cool. Cream remaining butter with sugar. Add buttermilk and cooled mixture. Sift flour and soda together. Add buttermilk and flour alternately to the batter, blending well by hand. Add vanilla and pecans. Grease and dust with flour three 9-inch cake pans or tube pan. Bake at 325° for 30 to 45 minutes, or until done.Icing: Boil sugar and milk to soft stage. Add marshmallow cream, chocolate chips and butter. Beat until thick enough to spread on cake.
