Microwave caramel corn



  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • popped corn - 3 qt
  • stick butter or margarine - 1 item
  • white corn syrup - 1/4 c

How to make microwave caramel corn:

You will need nonstick cooking spray and brown paper grocery sack. Spray bag with nonstick spray and put popcorn in it.

Combine margarine, corn syrup and brown sugar in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat 4 minutes or until the mixture boils. Stir well. Pour over popcorn in bag. Shake bag and microwave for 90 seconds on High. Shake bag and microwave for another 90 seconds on High. Shake bag and microwave for another 30 seconds. Shake and microwave for 30 seconds longer. Tear bag open. Spread out. Let cool. Will crispen as cools. Store in airtight container.
