  • water - 1/2 c
  • can tomato sauce - 1 oz
  • 4 oz - 1 c
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • can chopped green chiles, drained - 1 oz
  • can Durkee French fried onions - 1 item
  • pasta stuffing shells, cooked and drained - 12 item
  • jar medium or mild picante - 1 oz

How to make mexican stuffed shells:

Brown ground beef; drain. Combine sauce, water and tomato sauce. Stir 1/2 cup of this into ground beef along with chiles, 1/2 cup cheese and 1/2 can French fried onions; mix well. Pour half of remaining sauce mix on bottom of baking dish (9 x 13-inches
