Mexican shrimp
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- water - 1 c
- small onion - 1 item
- tomatoes - 2 c
- to 10 strips bacon - 5 item
- celery to taste 1 to 3 pieces
- small can baby peas - 1 item
- small bag frozen or fresh shrimp - 1 item
How to make mexican shrimp:
In large skillet cook together onion, celery and bacon until bacon is cooked. Add flour and chili powder; mix well. Slowly pour in water, cook about 15 minutes. Add tomatoes, peas and sugar, cook 15 minutes. Add shrimp and cook until shrimp is warmed through. Serve over cooked rice or noodles.Recipe categories: Snacks, Appetizers, Shrimp.
