Ingredients/Components

  • jar salsa - 1 oz
  • hot sausage - 1 lb
  • Velveeta cheese regular or Mexican - 1 lb

How to make mexican sausage dip:

Brown sausage in a skillet and drain well. Cut cheese into small cubes. In a crock-pot, add all ingredients and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes. Stir well and continue to simmer until it reaches a thick consistency and all cheese is melted. Serve hot with tortilla chips for dipping.

For spicier dip, use Mexican cheese and hotter salsa.

For mild dip, use mild salsa and regular cheese.
