Ingredients/Components
- chili powder - 2 Tbsp
- salsa - 1/2 c
- chopped ripe olives - 8 oz
- ground beef - 3 lb
- tomato sauce - 15 oz
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- grated Longhorn cheese - 1/2 1
- hard rolls - 24 item
How to make mexican sandwiches:
Brown meat and onion; drain. Stir in tomato sauce, salsa, chili powder and olives. Heat and cook until thick. Remove from heat and stir in cheese. Cut open the hard rolls and haul a cavity out. Fill with meat sauce; close and wrap individually in foil. Serve or may be refrigerated and reheated in a 350° oven for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, Sandwich.
