  • chili powder - 2 Tbsp
  • salsa - 1/2 c
  • chopped ripe olives - 8 oz
  • ground beef - 3 lb
  • tomato sauce - 15 oz
  • large onion, chopped - 1 item
  • grated Longhorn cheese - 1/2 1
  • hard rolls - 24 item

How to make mexican sandwiches:

Brown meat and onion; drain. Stir in tomato sauce, salsa, chili powder and olives. Heat and cook until thick. Remove from heat and stir in cheese. Cut open the hard rolls and haul a cavity out. Fill with meat sauce; close and wrap individually in foil. Serve or may be refrigerated and reheated in a 350° oven for 30 minutes.
