Mexican rice



  • water
  • can tomato sauce - 8 oz
  • salt optional - 1 item
  • small green pepper, diced - 1 item
  • small onion, diced - 1 item
  • uncooked rice long grain - 2 c
  • diced tomatoes small can - 1 item
  • all-purpose spices Goya adobo, green cap - 1 item

How to make mexican rice:

Two cups raw rice is fried until golden brown. Then add onions, green pepper and spices. Mix together with rice for about 5 minutes. Add water, tomato sauce and diced tomatoes. Mix together (medium flame). "DO NOT STIR WHILE COOKING; RICE WILL STICK TOGETHER". Let cook about 15 to 20 minutes or until all water has evaporated. Ready to serve and eat.
