Mexican fried rice



  • water - 3 qt
  • can tomato sauce - 1 item
  • onion, chopped - 1 item
  • stalk celery, chopped - 1 item
  • green pepper, chopped - 1 item
  • cloves garlic, chopped - 2 item
  • small can tomato paste - 1 item
  • salt, pepper, rosemary and thyme - 1 item
  • can Ortega chopped chiles - 1 item

How to make mexican fried rice:

In kettle place ingredients. Boil and simmer for at least 1 hour. Fry 1 quart rice in heavy pan with small amount of oil. When turning color is apparent, put rice in kettle and cook until done. (May have to add water.)
