- buttermilk - 1 c

- cornmeal - 1 c
- small onion, chopped - 1 item
- can cream-style corn - 1 item
- taco seasoning mix - 1 pkg
- ground chuck - 1 lb
- jalapeno peppers - 2 item
- grated American cheese - 1 c
How to make mexican cornbread casserole:
Sift flour, baking powder and soda. Stir in cornmeal. Add eggs, onion, peppers, corn and buttermilk. Brown meat; drain. Add taco seasoning and a little water. Cook until almost dry. In skillet, heat 2 tablespoons oil until it smokes, then pour inRecipe categories: Breads, Grains, Side dish.
