  • cornmeal - 1 c
  • grated cheese - 1 c
  • ground beef - 1 lb
  • onion, minced - 1 item
  • can creamed corn - 1 oz
  • hot pepper optional - 1 item
  • vegetable oil less if meat is greasy - 1/2 c

How to make mexican cornbread:

Baking Temperature: 350°. Baking Time: 1 hour or more. Brown ground beef. Meanwhile, combine dry ingredients. Add remaining ingredients except meat and cheese. Pour half the corn mixture into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Add the meat and chees
