  • eggs - 2 item
  • milk - 1 c
  • grated cheese - 2 c
  • ground beef
  • pepper to taste - 1 item
  • salt to taste - 1 item
  • can creamed corn - 1 item
  • corn meal - 1 c
  • grated onions - 1 c
  • chopped jalapeno peppers to taste - 1 item
  • jalapeno pepper juice - 3 Tbsp

How to make mexican cornbread:

Brown ground beef with salt and pepper. Drain and set aside. Mix cornmeal, milk, eggs, creamed corn and jalapeno pepper juice. Grease iron skillet and layer the following: 1/2 batter, ground beef, grated onion, jalapenos, grated cheese and 1/2 batter. Bake at 425° for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
