Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 2 item
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt
- oil - 2/3 c
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- yellow cornmeal - 1 c
- Cheddar cheese, shredded
- small can cream-style corn - 1 item
- small can green chilies, chopped - 1 item
How to make mexican cornbread:
Mix all ingredients except cheese and chilies. Put 1/2 mixture in greased Pyrex pan (8 x 8). Add chilies and cheese. Top with remaining mixture. Bake 1 hour at 325°.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, North american.
