Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- milk
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 1/2 c
- oil - 1/4 c
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- egg - 1 item
- grated cheese - 1 c
- can chopped green chilies - 1 item
- corn - 1 c
- meal
How to make mexican cornbread:
Combine dry ingredients; add milk, egg and oil. Mix just until dry ingredients are moist. Stir in cheese, chilies and corn. Pour into a greased 8 or 9-inch pan and bake at 425° for 20 to 25 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, North american.
