Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- soda - 1/2 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- ground beef - 1/2 lb
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- can cream-style corn - 1 item
- Cheddar cheese - 1/4 lb
- corn meal - 1 c
- jalapeno peppers - 2 item
How to make mexican cornbread:
Brown meat and drain. Mix all remaining ingredients. Put 1/4 cup bacon grease in pan and heat in oven. Pour ingredients in pan and bake at 350° for 1 hour.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, North american.
