- milk
- salt - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- eggs, slightly beaten - 3 item
- large onion, chopped - 1 item
- Wesson oil - 1/2 c
- grated sharp cheese
- self-rising cornmeal - 1 c
- can Niblets corn - 1 item
How to make mexican cornbread:
Mix cornmeal, salt, baking powder, oil, milk, eggs, grated cheese, corn and chopped onion. Pour into large skillet. Bake at 400° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, North american.
