  • milk - 1 c
  • salt - 3/4 tsp
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped onion - 1 item
  • ground beef
  • Cheddar cheese - 1 lb
  • can creamed corn - 1 item
  • corn meal - 1 c
  • can green chiles - 1 item

How to make mexican cornbread:

Brown meat with onion; drain. Mix together the corn meal, eggs, milk, baking powder, salt, corn and chile. Pour 1/2 of batter in greased casserole dish, all of the meat and grated cheese. Put remainder of batter on top of cheese. Bake at 350° for appr
