Ingredients/Components
- flour - 2 c
- sugar - 1/2 c
- baking powder - 6 tsp
- salt - 2 tsp
- yellow cornmeal - 2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- milk
- oil - 1/2 c
- can creamed corn - 1 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- jalapeno peppers - 3 item
How to make mexican cornbread:
Blend flour, sugar, baking powder and salt; add cornmeal. Blend 2 eggs, milk and oil. Add corn, cheese and pepper. Use a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 450° for 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Breads, Quick breads, North american.
